Our Story

James and Lin have been involved with several Vineyard church plants over the past 20+ years, leading in various roles over that time. Lin grew up in Southampton and James moved there for University and both love the city (and the football club). They have been married for nearly 20 years and have 3 children. In recent years, as a family they have felt an increasing sense of calling to plant a church in Southampton, joining with other great churches already in the city and the surrounding areas in bringing God’s presence, his love, life and hope wherever they go.

They have been leading a great group of people in Southampton as part of Winchester Vineyard and that group were launched as Solent Vineyard church in Southampton in September 2021.
